Im Rahmen der Aktion „Wandbild Erfahrungsberichte“ habe ich von Saal Digital einen 50€ Gutschein für Wandbilder bekomme. Ich habe mich für Alu-Dibond entschieden, da dies sehr edel aussieht und für mein gewähltes Motiv gut passt. Ich habe bereits ein Bild auf Alu-Dibond von Picanova. Daher werde ich hier einen Kleinen vergleich anstellen und die Unterschiede darlegen.

Erster Eindruck

Das Bild kam vier Arbeitstage nach meiner Bestellung sicher verpackt bei mir van. Nach dem Auspacken war ich zuerst kurz verwundert. Im Gegensatz zu dem Picanova Alu-Dibond Bild ist die Oberfläche matt und nicht glänzend. Dies liegt am unterschiedlichen Herstellungsverfahren von Picanova und Saal Digital.

Herstellung

Picanova druckt das Bild auf glänzendem Fotopapier und versieht dieses mit einer vor UV-Strahlung schützenden Beschichtung. Dieses Fotopapier wird dann auf das Alu-Grundmaterial aufgebracht (Quelle). Bei Saal Digital wird direkt mit einem 6-Farben Druck auf das matte Aluminium gedruckt. Dieser Druck ist nach eigenen Angaben ebenfalls resistent gegen UV-Strahlung (Quelle). Je nach Motiv kann glänzend oder matt besser sein. Glänzend hat aber immer den Nachteil, dass Teile des Bildes von störenden Spiegelungen verdeckt werden können. Das kommt immer darauf an, aus welcher Richtung das einfallende Licht (Fenster oder Lampe) kommt.

Druckqualität

Die Druckqualität ist absolute klasse. Das Bild ist knack scharf und die Farben leuchten richtig. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass Saal Digital ICC-Profile (International Color Consortium) zu jedem Produkt anbietet. Diese Profile lassen sich in Lightroom und Photoshop einbinden und simulieren das Druckmedium. So kann das spätere Druckergebnis besser beurteilt werden und sollte (bei Verwendung eines Kalibrierten Monitors) nicht zu weit von der Monitordarstellung abweichen. Soweit ich weiß, bietet Picanova keine ICC-Profile für seine Produkte an. Bilder drucken ist sowieso eine Wissenschaft für sich. Allein der Unterschied, dass es sich bei dem am Monitor dargestellten Bild um eine „Durchlicht“ Situation handelt und beim gedruckten Bild nicht, kann die Bildwirkung massiv verändern.

Bild aufhängen

Saal Digital bietet verschiedene Aufhängungsarten an. Diese kosten einen Aufpreis. Die einfachste Möglichkeit ist die Standart-Aufhängung. Bei dieser Aufhängung wird ein Metallblech mit Lasche hinten an das Bild geklebt. Mit der Lasche lässt sich das Bild an einen Nagel oder eine Schraube in der Wand aufhängen. Die zusätzlichen Kosten für die Standard-Aufhängung variieren je nach Bildgröße. So kostet die Aufhängung für ein 20×20 Bild 4,95€. Für ein 60×40 Bild kostet sie jedoch schon 8,95€ extra. Es kann sich also lohnen, auf alternative Aufhängungen von Amazon* oder einem örtlichen Baumarkt auszuweichen.

Ich selbst verwende diese hier von Bauhaus (link). Da ist auch schon ein Dübel und eine Schraube mit inbegriffen. Damit der Kleber richtig haftet und die maximale Tragkraft gegeben ist, solltet Ihr die Anleitung der Halterung sorgfältig lesen.

Fazit

Saal-Digital bietet bei Alu-Dibond Bildern eine sehr hohe Qualität und eine matte Oberfläche. Beim Standard-Preis liegt Saal-Digital vor Picanova. So kostet Ein Alu-Dibond Bild in dem Format 60×40 bei Saal 46,95€ und bei Picanova 88,90€. Jedoch bieten Picanova in ihrem Newsletter öfter sehr starke Rabatte an. So hat mein 80×60 Bild von Picanova nur 30€ gekostet.

In Zukunft würde ich vermutlich eher zu der matten Variante von Alu-Dibond greifen, da ich die Reflektionen auf glänzendem Material als zu störend empfinde.
